Summer Camps
STARBASE 1.0 a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy
Was your 5th grader unable to attend STARBASE with their school this year? We have two offerings of our 25 hours program running Monday – Friday from 9am to 2pm. This is for outgoing 5th graders and 6th graders that have been unable to attend a STARBASE Base academy during the school year. Lego Robots, Scratch programing, CAD, Physics, and Energy are just some of the topics we cover. Please do not sign up your child if they are going into 5th grade.
This is the same program we run during the school year. Space is limited to 24 per session, students work in groups of 4. The program is free to all. We do not provide transportation or food. There is not a cooking facility available, sack lunches required.

Battle Bots
This 20-hour program is going to go beyond the basics of the robots we cover in our other programs. Children will have an opportunity to build and program Lego Spike robots, Lego EV3 robots, and work with both Sphero and Edison robots. Students will need to bring their game face to engineer, build, and troubleshoot their way through challenges and competitions with classmates. This class is recommended for 5th grade and above. Space is limited to 15 per session. The program is free to all. We do not provide transportation or food. There is not a cooking facility available, sack lunches required

STARBASE Summer for 4th to 6th grade
A Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Camp. This is different from our 1.0 program. The camp will be 20 hours long, over 4 days, 5 hours each day. Don’t worry if your student has or hasn’t attended STARBASE in the past. We will re-introduce topics and expand on them. Robots, Mapping and GPS Geocaching, CAD and 3-D printing, chromatography are just some of the topics we will cover. Space is limited to 20 per session, students work in groups of 4. The program is free to all, We do not provide transportation or food. There is not a cooking facility available, sack lunches required.
