Summer Camps
STARBASE Camp Rilea 2026
All STARBASE summer camps are free! However, they do not include transportation or meals. Please plan to drive your students to and from STARBASE each day of camp. Please pack a lunch and wear weather appropriate clothes as we will be both indoors and out. Hats, jackets, water bottles, and sunscreen are recommended.
Please register for only one camp per child. We hope to serve as many local families as possible with our summer camp programs and provide opportunities for new students to join. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to another awesome summer!

Coding and Robotics Camp
Students will learn about engineering, code video games, build robots, and battle them!
We are offering 2-day camps for the grade 3-5 age group this year so that we can open more seats and serve more local families. Both sessions of this camp will include the same fun projects. Please register your student for only one session of this camp.

Advanced Game Design Camp
Learn the basics of real video game design! Students entering grades 6-8 will work together to build a working game in the Unity game engine. This will be a challenging camp that requires students to work together with their teammates, stay focused on their goals, and learn new coding concepts that require independent reading and creative troubleshooting.
For students who are excited to learn the nuts and bolts of how games really work, this will be a great camp. Students who are hoping to play video games all day will be terribly bored.

Science & Engineering Camp
Students will set off cool chemical reactions, launch rockets, use microscopes, build machines, and much more!

Animation Camp
Direct the next summer blockbuster! Kids will develop characters, design sets, and use editing software to create their own stopmotion animations!
