About STARBASE
STARBASE Rilea is located at the Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center in Warrenton. We serve students from Warrenton, Astoria, Seaside, and surrounding school districts.
2021 Summer Programs
STARBASE 25 HR STEM Program
This is our main school-year program, delivered for the first time in the summer!
STARBASE academies around the country deliver 25-hours of exciting S.T.E.M (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum to 5th grade students. The curriculum is an inquiry based hands-on, minds-on experience. Students explore Robotics, Computer Aided Design, Engineering, Chemistry and more!
The Unusual circumstances of this school year prevented classes from making their regular field trips, but now students can join us for 1 full week of science and fun this summer.
Students may be enrolled in only 1 session of our 25 HR STEM program. All 25 HR programs will cover the same projects so that more students have the opportunity to participate. Please choose the week that works best for your family and enroll in only one 25 HR program.

Themed Summer Camps
Battle Bots Summer Camp
Students will learn about robotics, coding, and mechanical engineering as they build, test, and battle working robots! Students will use EV3 Lego robot parts to solve engineering challenges and design their best competition robot.

Music Video Production Summer Camp
Due to the popularity of our Battle Bots summer camp, we canceled the Music Video Production camp to offer another week of 5th-8th grade robotics.
Microscope Exploration Summer Camp
Discover a world of strange and remarkable microscopic creatures that live all around us! In this micro-safari summer camp we will learn to use awesome scientific tools and identify tiny animals and plants that we find in nature!
